Remo Bye-Election: APC Candidate Ayoola Elegbeji Casts Vote, Urges Massive Turnout

The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Remo Federal Constituency bye-election, Honourable Adesola Ayoola Elegbeji, has cast her vote in Ward 15, Sagamu Local Government.
Elegbeji arrived at her polling unit early and exercised her civic responsibility, describing the process as peaceful and orderly. Speaking shortly after voting, she encouraged residents of the constituency to come out en masse and participate in the electoral process.
She emphasized that voter turnout is crucial in deepening democracy and ensuring that the choice of the people is adequately reflected in the outcome of the election.

“I urge all electorates not to sit at home but to come out and make their voices heard through their votes. This election is about the future of our constituency, and it is important that everyone takes part,” she stated.
The APC candidate also commended security agencies and election officials for their presence and efforts in maintaining order, while expressing optimism that the exercise would be concluded peacefully.
The bye-election is being conducted to fill the vacant seat of Remo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives following the passing of Hon. Adewunmi Oriyomi Onanuga (Ijaya).
