Property Merchant, Akintunde Armstrong Emerges Apollogramms Old Students Associations National President
Akintunde Armstrong seeks collaboration to develop education sector
The Chief Executive Officer of Aerofield Homes Limited, Trinity Gardens and the newly elected National President of Christ Apostolic Grammar School Old Students Association, Mr Armstrong Akintunde has called for collaborative efforts to further develop the education sector in the country.
Akintunde maintained that the government is really trying to enhance the delivery of qualitative education in the country, but the job is enormous given the country’s population and other competing needs.
He said that this therefore requires that everyone support the government to provide a conducive learning environment for the citizenry.
The property merchant disclosed this while speaking with journalists shortly after his election as the new President of the Christ Apostolic Grammar School Old Students Association, Iperu Remo.
The election which was held at the school premises, Iperu witnessed the large turn out of the old students of the school who came around to kick off a new era for their alma mater.

Speaking after the swear-in of the new executives, the newly elected President, Akintunde said that “The large turn out of the old students for this election really confirmed the great love and respect we all have for this school.
“I therefore pledge that my leadership will not betray the confidence reposed in our capacity to build on the strong legacy of supporting the growth of this great secondary school to be the first to be reckoned with in the country.
“We all know that the government cannot do it alone, we must therefore as stakeholders and old students be ready to deploy our resources and influence to complement the efforts of the government in upscaling the infrastructural drive of the school while also supporting the students to excel in their studies”.
The Iperu Remo born real estate magnate has therefore called for the cooperation and support of the old students to move the association forward, saying that no efforts will be spared to mobilise for further development of the school.
The immediate past national secretary of the association, Mr Gbolahan Osho who also doubles as Ex-Officio II described the newly elected president as a man of many colours who deserves to be elected with his team to lead the school to the next level greatness.
Osho said that he was sure that Akintunde-led executive would impact the course of the old student association for the good.
