ULENUSE MOVEMENT CONDEMNS THE MURDER OF JIDE SOWORE; TIME TO UNITE AND #ENDINSECURITY IN NIGERIA NOW!

In a press release stated below which was signed and sent to Eaglesforesight from a member of Ulenuse Movement in Info South, the group condole with the entire family of Omoyele Sowore over the deceased who was reportedly killed earlier this morning.

ā€œWe of the Ulenuse Movement in Ondo South condoles with the Sowore family over the murder of their illustrious son, a supporter of people and great icon of music. We condemn his killings and dare say that it is a sad day for Apoi peopleā€.

ā€œOlajide Sowore was a health expert who taught himself through Medical practices as an entrepreneur for over two decades in Benin. He is a household name whose pharmacy has helped to contribute in no small measure to community health care. His love for music also shows a great talent who founded his own genre and created a musical hub that is so sonorousā€.

We in Ulenuse use this opportunity to also call on President Muhammadu Buhari and other members of the ruling class to submit to popular demands for collective and proactive wars against insecurity all over the country. No one is sleeping with both eyes closed from North to South, yet our rulers keep siphoning security votes as well as keep formenting crude policies that helps to recruit more criminals to the underworld.

Ulenuse Movement reiterates again that we need mass jobs, valued currency, end to impunity, and such other development indicators to halt insecurity.

It is with the premise above that we call for the immediate arrests and prosecutions of the killers of Olajide Sowore aka Dr Mamiye, and the immediate rescue of the five others that. were allegedly kidnapped.

We specifically console with Omoyele Sowore, great social crusader and former presidential candidate on the death of his little brother. We pray that such will not happen anymore, the source said.

Accept our condolences!

Signed,

Kolade Benson Omoyeni,

Convener.
