Plateau APC instructs young people to avoid religious sentiments
The youth of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Plateau state have instructed their counterparts in Nigeria to discard religious and other sentiments and vote for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying the APC presidential candidate is the is the only candidate who has solutions to the country’s problems.
The APC youth leader in Plateau state, Hon Nanloh Joseph Dashe, who stated this during the sensitization and engagement with the youth during the upcoming election, described the party’s presidential candidate as a detribalized Nigerian, adding that he has mentored quite a few youths . about tribal and religious lines who are currently contributing their quota to the development of Nigeria.
According to him, the young people cannot afford to sit on the fence at the moment and order them to take the opportunity of the February 25 presidential election to vote for Asiwaju Tinubu, who he says has the passion and drive to to the needs of young people and to create employment opportunities for them.
“Asiwaju has done it before as Governor of Lagos State, where several youths were mentored. Most of those he mentored can be found in various fields of human endeavour, and contributed their quota to the development of Nigeria. “The presidential candidate knows the terrain and will not let the youth down when he comes to power.”
The Plateau youth leader ordered young people in the party not to give in to their campaign for the presidential candidate and others on the party’s platform and assured them that their labor would not be in vain as they would be adequately compensated.
He went on to say that the essence of the sensitization was to mobilize the young people to take the campaign to the polling stations and to ensure that the candidate’s message reaches the grassroots.
“We’ve done it in the past; everyone knows that Plateau is for APC.” The same sensitization we conducted today will be repeated in other senatorial districts to get the bases to vote for Tinubu and Shettima. APC is not new to Plateau State; Governor Lalong has transformed the state, so winning the election will not be a difficult task.
“After this exercise, 30 polling stations will be sent to all polling stations on the plateau to bring the mandate to the electorate as youths to further drum up support for the APC,” he said.
Also, the Executive Chairman of the Langtang North Local Government Area, Hon. Bitrus Zumfal, said the APC-led government at the center has done well over the past seven years and advised other political parties to take a back seat so that APC can continue on May 29, 2023.
He said no Nigerian has had a positive influence on fellow Nigerians like Tinubu, adding that his government was a mini-Nigeria where every part of the country was represented and his political mentorship deserves emulation.
