PDP Sagamu Resumes Meetings After Period Of Mourning For Late Rt. Hon. Adewunmi Onanuga (Ijaya)
Following the earlier suspension of all general and ward meetings last week to honor the passing of Rt. Hon. Dr. Adewunmi Onanuga Oriyomi (Ijaya), the Sagamu People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has announced the resumption of its regular activities.
In a statement released by the party leadership, it was confirmed that the general meeting at Oriyanrin will recommence on Monday, January 27th, 2025. Similarly, ward meetings across Sagamu will return to their usual schedule, taking place every Tuesday as before.
The party urged all members, elders, and leaders in every ward to participate fully and ensure wide dissemination of the information to their respective members.

The earlier suspension of meetings was a mark of respect for the late Rt. Hon. Adewunmi Oriyomi Onanuga, whose significant contributions to Remoland and Ogun State left an indelible legacy.
The party expressed gratitude to its members for their understanding during the mourning period and reiterated its commitment to fostering unity and progress in Sagamu and beyond.
