Ogun State: Hon. Dre Solicits Support For Media, Set To Build Relationships, Launch Media Platforms

The Honourable member of Ogun State House of Assembly representing Offin, Sagamu 1 State Constituency Affairs, Omooba Oluwadamilare Mohammed Bello, has solicited the support of the media in its activities. To enable constituents seeking to have good quality and timely information about their immediate environment and other relevant issues being carried along.

Omooba disclosed this today in his constituency office at a day media workshop organised by him to equip and support his media team.

He said, “the media educates people about happenings, consequences, and alerts government for rescue and interventions, hence the need for increased engagement between members of the community, constituents, political actors and the media”.

Omooba Damilare took his time to state the importance of the media and how it helped him to project his activities over the years.

He said, “as a critical stakeholder in Ogun state politics, I have prioritized the media as a veritable tool to reach out to my people and particularly, which my primary assignment is to close the gap between me and my constituents.”

It, thus, announced a launch of new social media accounts Facebook, Instagram and Twitter as medium to strengthen relationship with constituents and other critical stakeholders to deliver more effectively.

While reacting, the resource person, Miss Tope James expressed optimism and further encouraged the team to continue to see bigger picture ahead.
