Ogun LG Elections: PDP Gears Up For High-Stakes Primary Elections In Sagamu, Security Tightened As Aspirants Battle For Top Spots
The stage is set for a thrilling contest as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) prepares to conduct primary elections for chairmanship aspirants in Sagamu Local Government. The election, scheduled for today Saturday 7th of September, 2024, has the presence of OGSIEC official, Mr Ajetunmobi Bolaji Adetayo and others.
The primary election will determine the party’s Chairmanship flag bearer for the upcoming local government elections.
With a large number of aspirants vying for the top spots, the party has put in place measures to ensure a peaceful and transparent process. Security has been beefed up, with a heavy presence of police and other security personnel deployed to maintain law and order.
According to party sources, a total significant numbers of aspirants are contesting for the chairmanship position. The elections will be held at LBC Hall at hospital road, a designated venue by the party state committee for Sagamu Local Government.
