Ogun 2023: Rep Ijaya Join Transport Union In Solidarity Walk For All APC Candidates In Remo, In Sagamu

The peace loving people of Sagamu Local Government, today Saturday, 17th December 2022, witnessed one of the biggest political gathering of progressive minded politicians, community stakeholders, young, old and likeminds, to create an impactful awareness for the electoral patronage of All Progressives Congress (APC) and for the promotion of all the party’s candidates to have resounding victory at the polls in next year’s general elections.

The aim of the solidarity walk according to the organizers – Coalition Of All Transport Unions in Remo – is to showcase the popularity, acceptability, electoral values and political strength of Sagamu APC in order to put the party in the winning lane for the presidential candidate of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Ogun East Senatorial District candidate, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, Remo Federal House Of Representatives candidate, Hon. Adewunmi Onanuga, Ogun House Of Assembly Sagamu 1 State Constituency candidate, Hon. Segun Shitta and his counterpart, Hon. Adeniran Ademola for Sagamu 2 State Constituency.

At the forefront of the solidarity walk was the MHR Candidate and current House of Representatives representing the good people of Remo Constituency at Abuja, Hon. (Otunba) Oriyomi Adewumi Onanuga -IJAYA.

Other notable leaders present at the political event were not limited to Hon. Adebiyi Adeleye, Hon. Segun Shitta, his campaign DG and Chairman of the Ijaya Youth Directorates, Hon. Habeeb Ajetunmobi, Otunba Taofeek Sokoya -Danku, APC local governments and ward executives, party members, several Transport Union leaders, members and others too numerous to mention.

The landmark historical solidarity walk which is the first in recent history of political gatherings kicked off from Express Junction, Sagamu, via Ewusi Street to Akarigbo Road, Sabo Market and back to Under Bridge where a mammoth crowd of supporters, members and admirers of APC in the community where later addressed.

In her remarks, Ijaya stated verifiable projects in the Local Government in particular and Remo in general and reiterated efforts to consolidate on the far reaching impactful achievements in the last three and half years in office with an assurance of more dividends when re-elected into office for a second term. The people were also reminded of the corporate benefits of voting enmass for all the party’s candidates for the sake of rapid infrastructural development of Sagamu, Remo, Ogun and Nigeria at large.
