OGHA Election: Ogun Speaker, Oluomo Leads, Election Declared Inconclusive

The result of the just concluded Ogun State House of Assembly election for Ifo Constituency 1 has been declared inconclusive.

According to the returning officer of the election, Professor Olusegun Onabanjo, the Speaker, Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Olakunle Oluomo of the All Progressives Congress, APC, had a total of 7,379 votes while his closest rival, Ogundele Okikiola of the PDP had 6411. Wemimo Owolabi of the ADC polled 3207 votes.

The polling booth is the unit of the State Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP and his son who is also the PDP Candidate for the Constituency, Sikirulahi and Okikiola Ogundele.
