Odeda Stand Still For PDP As Adebutu Donates Transformer To Local Government

It was a rousing welcome from the people of Odeda Local Government as the Peoples Democratic Party Campaign train led by its Governorship Candidate, Hon.(Dr.) Oladipupo Adebutu, stormed Odeda.

The campaign which commenced with a visit to the Palace of Osile of Oke-ona Egba, to receive the Royal blessings of His Royal Majesty, Oba Adedapo Tejuoso.The train also had a stop by at Obantoko and Osiele Wards where the Baales, community leaders, religious leaders, youths, students, party faithfuls and loyalists warmly received the PDP candidates and campaign train.

At the grand finale of the Odeda Local Government campaign held in Odeda town, the people who trooped out in their thousands, expressed their joy and their commitment to vote the PDP at all levels while stressing that they have endured enough hardship from the current APC led administration.

In his address, Hon. Adebutu expressed his commitment to bettering the lots of the people of Ogun State with his ITURA DE agenda purposely designed to bring desired relief to the people of Ogun State. He noted that Odeda having the seven out of its ten wards mainly known for agriculture and a good number of farm settlements, will be provided with necessary supports to aid the development of agriculture and to encourage the farmers.

Adebutu also restated his commitment to grant Local Government autonomy if elected because development of a State can only be rapid when it comes from the grassroots.

Also speaking at the event, the wife of the PDP Gubernatorial cayndidate, Yeye Adenike Adebutu appreciated the people of Odeda for their support, berated the current government for lacking empathy and assured women of their inclusion in the Ladi Adebutu led administration as he had promised 33% of women participation in his administration.

The event was rounded off with a donation of 500KVA transformer to the Camp community within the Local Government area to alleviate the community of epileptic power problem suffered for over three years.

The event had in attendance the State Chairman of the PDP, Hon. Sikirulahi Ogundele, the Ogun Central Senatorial Candidate, Chief Olumide Aderinokun, the Federal House of Representative Candidate, the State House of Assembly Candidate, Party leaders and stakeholders across the State among others.
