NYCN IJEBU NORTH INTERACTS WITH CHAIRMANSHIP CANDIDATE IN OGUN STATE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ELECTION 2021
The National Youth Council of Nigeria, Ijebu North Branch Interactive Session with the Ijebu North Chairmanship candidate in the Ogun State Local Government Election was held on Saturday July 10th, 2021.
The History making event which was held at Ijebu Igbo Town Hall has two Chairmanship Candidates in attendance. The Candidates present are Hon. Bolaji Oluwaseun Odusanya of APC and Hon. Mrs. Morenikeji Afosi of NNPP.
In his welcome address, the Coordinator of NYCN IJEBU NORTH, Com. Ogunleye Ismaila, explained the reason behind this Interactive Session and stated that we hope that after this Interactive Session, we should come out with a blue print with which we can work on to better the life’s of our people in the Local Government.
The Interactive Session started with questions on the early life of the Candidates, the problem they have been able to noticed in the Local Government and the possible solutions.
In there separate comments, the two candidates were quick to appreciate the efforts of the Youth Council and promise to make sure that the youth constituency were well taken care of in their administration.
Participants were selected youths from Atikori Youth Forum, Ago Iwoye Youth Development Association, Oke Sopen Youth Forum, Oke Agbo Youth Forum, Red Cross, Man O’war and other youth organizations in the local government.
Also present at the ceremony are:
1. Hon. Sansa Ismaila ( Vice Chairman, Transition Committee, Ijebu North)
2. Com. Senbadejo Olawale (State Deputy Chairman, NYCN Ogun State)
3. Hon. Sojinrin
4. Prince Ademola Osofodunrin (Allowed)
5. Mr. Odunsi
6. Councilorship candidates from some Wards in the local government from the APC and NNP
6. Chief Adeoye (Rep. Iyaloja General of Akile Ijebu).
Participants at the event also use the medium to call on the Youth Council to look into how the various representative at all level can give an account of their stewardship by organizing a town hall meeting for such and inviting them as that will make them all to stand on their toes and do more for the people.
It is our believe that this program will usher the local government into another level of development if the issues discussed at the session were well taken care of by the eventually winner.
