Describing him as a “pillar of inspiration” to media practitioners across the state and beyond, the Union lauded Apostle Achudume for his longstanding support, mentorship, and unwavering commitment to the growth of journalism in Nigeria.

In a statement jointly signed by the Council Chairman, Comrade Wale Olanrewaju, and Secretary, Comrade Bunmi Adigun, the NUJ noted that Apostle Achudume has continually used his voice and platform to promote press freedom, professionalism, and unity among journalists.
