Niger Coup: “We Can’t Have Regards For You As An Illegitimate President,” Gen. Tiani Replies Tinubu [video]
As talks about Niger coup d’etat dominate world media, the new military Head of State of Niger Republic, Gen. Abdourahamane Tiani, has finally opened up with a dirty reply amidst pressure from President Bola Tinubu.
The Presidential Guard, on Wednesday, had seized power in a bloodless coup d’etat, holding president Mohamed Bazoum hostage.
Announcing the successful takeover on a national television, the soldiers named Gen. Tiani the new leader of the impoverished nation.
