As the August 1st protests approach, Comrade Bashiru Hammed Adewale popularly known as Honourable Prince Lahbash, a respected youth leader and Remo Youths Senior Media Aide, is calling on the government to engage in constructive dialogue with the youths. Lahbash believes that by working together, the government and the youths can find solutions to the country’s challenges and build a brighter future for all Nigerians.

“I understand the frustrations of the youths, and I understand the concerns of the government,’ Lahbash said. ‘But I believe that by listening to each other and working together, we can find common ground and create a better Nigeria for everyone.”

Lahbash emphasized that engaging with the youth at this moment is crucial because they are the driving force behind the protests. ‘The youth are the ones who are most affected by the economic hardship, insecurity, and social injustice,” Lahbash said.

“They are the ones who are demanding change, and they are the ones who will inherit the consequences of our actions.”

Lahbash declared that the government should cease meeting with elders and instead engage with the youth, who are the driving force behind the protests.

“The government needs to understand that, the youths, are the ones who matter most at this crucial moment,” Lahbash said.

“They’re the ones who are fed up with the status quo, who are demanding change, and who are willing to take action. They’re the ones who are bearing the brunt of the economic hardship, insecurity, and social injustice.”

Lahbash’s comments come as the government has been holding meetings with elder statesmen and royal fathers in an attempt to quell the growing unrest. However, Lahbash argued that this approach is misguided and ignores the root causes of the planned protests.

“The elders may have wisdom and experience, but the youths are the ones who have the energy, the passion, and the determination to bring about real change,” Lahbash said.

Furthermore, Lahbash noted that the youth have a unique perspective and energy that can bring about innovative solutions to the country’s problems. “The youth are not bound by traditional thinking and are more open to new ideas,” Lahbash said.

“By engaging with them, the government can tap into their creativity and enthusiasm, and find solutions that are tailored to the needs of the 21st century.”

In contrast, Lahbash pointed out that meeting with elder statesmen, while important, may not be as effective in addressing the current challenges. “The elders have wisdom and experience, but they may not fully understand the concerns and aspirations of the youth,” Lahbash said.

“By engaging with the youth directly, the government can get a more accurate pulse of the nation and find solutions that are more relevant to the needs of the people.”

Lahbash also encouraged the youths to express their grievances peacefully and to avoid violence. “Let’s work together to build a better Nigeria,” Lahbash said.

“Let’s show the world that we can resolve our differences peacefully and constructively. I urge all Nigerians to join me in calling for calm and restraint, and to work towards finding solutions that benefit everyone.”
