Madrid will meet Barça in the Copa del Rey semi-final

Real Madrid will face bitter rivals FC Barcelona in the Copa del Rey semi-finals after a draw was made at the headquarters of the Spanish Football Federation on Monday.

In the other semi-final, Osasuna will meet Athletic Bilbao.

The matches will take place on four different dates in February, March and April, with the Spanish Football Federation having a headache file.

Real Madrid will play in the FIFA Club World Cup that starts on Wednesday and ends on February 11, and then two stages of the Champions League that last 16.

Real Madrid and Barça will meet in the first leg at Camp Nou on March 1 and play the first leg at Santiago Bernabeu on April 4 or 5.

Osasuna will play against Athletic Bilbao on February 8 and March 1.

The semi-final is a chance for La Liga and European champions Real Madrid to take revenge for their 3-1 defeat two weeks ago in the Spanish Super Cup against FC Barcelona.

Barca are currently the leaders after rising to 47 points in their 1-0 win over Girona on Saturday.
