Lagos West PDP Senatorial Candidate, Segun Adewale Aerolands Mandate Robbed, Set To Seek Redress

As the 2023 national general elections came to conclusions, the Lagos State People’s Democratic Party Candidate of Lagos West, Mr Segun Adewale otherwise known as Aerolands has kicked against the final result that was announced by INEC and declared the All Progressive Congress candidate as winner.

He made this known to newsmen, while he expressed his displeasure and how he was not too comfortable with the process that was manipulated to robbed him of the people’s mandate.

Meanwhile, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), announced the winner of the election which was held on Saturday 25th of February 2023, as original results with the PDP party agents shows otherwise.

With Aerolands winning the 10 wards in all of the results shown by the agents and signed by the INEC.

Below read his full statements as observed by The Eaglesforesight correspondent:

“I would like to thank everyone for the trust and confidence reposed in me. My special thanks to our party faithfuls, leaders and our party’s flag bearer and incoming Governor, Dr Olajide Adediran (Jandor), Obidients, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Igbo leaders, especially the Ezes across the Lagos West Senatorial District, the hardworking SACO team, my ever supportive wife, my brothers and the larger family who have supported me in this journey.”

“Let me assure our teeming supporters and party faithfuls that the APC will not get away with the daylight robbery this time around. The mandate you have freely given to us that the APC in it’s usual character tried to steal will be challenged and I am very confident that with the avalanche of proofs to back up our claims, we are sure of victory.”

“We will not accept any other results, except the true results not falsified or pre written results.”

“I am also confident that we will not have a repeat of what happened in Imo State where there was a miscarriage of justice. We have results in the 10 Local Showing clearly that we won the election overwhelmingly. We will and in no time, our mandate will be restored.”

“We urge the INEC Rec Lagos to do the needful and release the original results as against the one released inside one room at the senatorial collation centre. We reject the release of the result in a place with one police officer and one news station(LTV)while the world , the different agents are waiting at the collation room for final reconciliation, collation and final announcements in the presence of Channels Tv, Arise Tv etc.”

“We urge our supporters not to be dismayed or discouraged. This temporary setback will be reversed and in a short while, we will laugh as he who laughs last laughs best.”
