Lafarge, RIDSCo Announce 2025 Bursary Scheme for Sagamu Indigenes

Lafarge Africa Plc, in collaboration with Royal Initiative for Development of Sagamu Community (RIDSCo), in a bid to promote education and youth development in Remoland has announced the opening of its 2025 bursary award for qualified indigenes and residents of Sagamu Local Government Area.
The annual scheme, which has supported hundreds of undergraduates and polytechnic students over the years, is designed to ease the financial burden of higher education and encourage academic excellence among Sagamu youths.
According to the official announcement, the bursary is open to students who meet the following conditions: applicants must be indigenes of Sagamu LGA and currently in their penultimate year of study—such as 300-level students in universities or HND I students in polytechnics. However, students enrolled in the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) or other distance learning programs are not eligible to apply.

The application window is open until September 26, 2025, after which late entries will not be considered.
Over the years, Lafarge and RIDSCo have consistently partnered on initiatives aimed at empowering the Sagamu community, ranging from scholarships and bursaries to skills acquisition programs. Stakeholders believe that this year’s bursary award will further strengthen the educational foundation of beneficiaries and inspire them to contribute positively to the development of Remoland and Ogun State at large.
