JUST IN: Federal Government Launches First Made-in-Nigeria Cell Phone 

Federal Government Launches First Made-in-Nigeria Cell Phone Nigerian President,  Muhammadu Buhari, has received a made-in-Nigeria android phone at the State House in Abuja. Bashir Ahmed, the President’s Personal Assistant for New Media, revealed this in a Facebook post on Wednesday.

“Earlier this morning, immediately before the start of this week’s Federal Executive Council Meeting at the State House, Abuja, President Buhari receives a ‘Made in Nigeria’ android phone from the Minister of Trade and Investment,” the post said.  

“Are you ready to start using Made in Nigeria phones?” This is coming days after the Federal Government through the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, announced the suspension of social media platform Twitter in Nigeria.
