The fear of bandits and Boko Haram has overwhelmed  greater parts of the Northern state in a Local Government of Borno, leading to soldiers escorting children to school.

In a viral video being circulated online, Nigerian soldiers are seen escorting children to school. The children are heard singing state and capital as taught in primary schools.

This is seen as the height of insecurity in Nigeria. Although people are not blaming the soldiers, they blame leaders of the nation who subject soldiers and children to such unwelcome experience.

Thou, Nigerian troops as taken it upon themselves to protect pupils and their teachers in Borno State by escorting them to school to ensure their safety.

The video confirms that the Nigerian Army now escort Pupils to school in some area in Borno State.

In a conversation on Tuesday with Eaglesforesight, the source, who pleaded anonymity, said, “troops operating under the auspices of Operation to protect the communities, especially pupils and teachers going to school, had been on the pursuit of kidnappers, herdsmen and bandits engaged in the rescue mission”

“The troops” resilience and doggedness are unwavering as further exploitation to complete annihilation of the insurgents is being sustained in the mountainous environment,” he said.

“He said the actions followed an initial encounter with the abductors of the previous times in the community, and they needed to provide all means to make sure those children are safe from being abducted.

Meanwhile, the spokesperson once said Nigerian troops would continue to extract credible intelligence on the presence of some of Boko Haram insurgents across the region.
