Adewunmi Onanuga Oriyomi’s Education Grant Support Program was successfully held on January 18, 2025, at the Sagamu Town Hall. Despite her untimely passing, her vision for empowering students continues to inspire hope and transformation.

Rt. Hon. Onanuga, fondly called “Ijaya,” served as the Deputy Chief Whip of the 10th House of Representatives and was renowned for her relentless advocacy for educational development. Her sudden demise on January 15, 2025, left a void in the hearts of many, but her legacy remains a beacon for the community she so passionately served.

The event, which marked a continuation of her unwavering commitment to education, saw students benefiting from financial grants and laptops. Speaking at the event, Ambassador Anikwe Innocent, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the late legislator, described the program as a testament to Hon.
