There are new concerns about the well-being of Nigerian music star, Omah Lay, as the singer posted a cryptic message on his Instagram story suggesting he may be going through a rough time.

The ‘Hypertension’ singer appears to have confused his fans over the post which many believed was reflective of his state of mind.

Considered one of the most successful breakthrough artists of his generation, Omah Lay has lived up to the expectations of his fans and many aficionados of his music.

The post that got many people talking read this: “Angels are supposed to fly. So if you don’t see or hear from me for a while, know that I’m working on my wings somewhere.”

While some people think his latest post could be motivated by lyrics in a song he’s working on, others argued that the singer may be trying to share a strong message that shouldn’t be ignored.

One of his fans said that Omah Lay doesn’t like frivolous words or anyone who jokes, his words are usually very strong and full of meanings.

Another fan commented that this could be another “sweet verse the artist is trying to release ahead of his new album.”
