I can deal with infidelity, says Foluke Daramola-Salako

A popular actress and filmmaker, Foluke Daramola-Salako, has said that while she can deal with infidelity on the part of her husband, she can condone abuse.

Insisting that it is not a bad thing to have a different political opinion than her husband, Kayode Salako, she said Saturday beats“The fact that my husband is a leader of the Labor Party does not change the fact that we are married and respect each other’s opinions and feelings. If someone wants to control their opinion over me, I would see that as a form of abuse. I can deal with infidelity in relationships and marriage, but I can’t deal with any form of abuse. If my husband had shown a domineering nature or if I felt like I was in some kind of bondage, the relationship will not work. But so far he has been liberal and that works for us.”

The actress, who is a supporter of the All Progressives Congress, also insisted she was no rookie in politics. She added: “I studied international law and relations at school. I was also director of social affairs at the student union. I’ve always been politically inclined.

“Acting was a means of survival for me, but politics is my first love.”

However, Daramola assured her fans that she had no intention of putting her acting career on hold.

The actress also stated that she always prioritized spending time with her children. She said: “I hadn’t been able to see my children for two years, but despite the pressures (from work and other activities), I was able to make time to travel to spend time with them. I am always willing to give my time and devotion which i love i am a passionate person once i set my mind to do something no one can stop me from doing it but when i am heartbroken i will be out for good are.
