Engr. Adéọlá Sosanwo took his first dose of COVID-19 vaccine yesterday, at his Sagamu office, Ayegbami-Gbadebo.

The vaccines approved for use have gone through all the clinical trials and safety checks, met standards of safety, quality and effectiveness set out by healthcare and related regulatory bodies in Ogun state.

SAS Foundation Chairman, admonish Sagamu citizenry to get vaccinated as recommended by WHO, since there is rare report of serious side effects such as allergic reactions, and no long term complications reported.

The first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine is expected to give good protection from corona virus from 3 or 4 weeks after vaccination. Even at that, there is tendency of vaccinated persons might still get or spread corona virus which means it is important to continue to follow social distancing guidance, and wear something that covers your nose and mouth in places where it is hard to stay away from crowd vicinity.
