Hon. (Barr.) Seun Adesanya Floods Ijebu North East Local Government Communities With Solar Powered Street Light

In a significant step towards improving optimum electrification and enhancing security across communities, Hon. Barr. Seun Adesanya, the member representing Ijebu North East State Constituency, has donated solar-powered streetlights to over 10 communities in Ijebu North East Local Government, which is second of its kind since the beginning of his tenure.

The presentation ceremony, held in Erunwon, was attended by community leaders, youth groups, and other stakeholders who gathered to commend the legislator’s impactful initiative.

While addressing the audience, Hon. Adesanya assured all the communities in Ijebu North East Local Government that the project will get to them before the mid of his first term tenure.

Among the benefiting communities include Ogidi, Odosenbora, Imuku, Idagunren, Odoyanta, Ododeyo, Ilumerin, Oke-Agbonle, Oke Eri and Okelugbogun, each community received strategically placed streetlights designed to provide adequate lighting for major roads, markets, and other public spaces.

Speaking on behalf of the communities, Prof. Abayomi Okunnowo from Odosenbora, lauded the project, describing it as a “much-needed intervention” that reflects Hon. Adesanya’s dedication to his constituents’ well-being.

This donation aligns with Hon. Adesanya’s broader agenda of promoting sustainable development within Ijebu North East State Constituency. This is the The solar-powered streetlights are expected to enhance lower energy costs, and promote environmentally friendly energy solutions.
