Hon. Afolabi Odulate Hails Stakeholders, Youths In Stewardship Report, Reaffirms Sagamu’s Security Success
Ogbeni Afolabi Odulate, the outgoing Sagamu Local Government Chairman and APC chairmanship candidate, has given a detailed stewardship report on his administration’s strides in addressing security challenges in Sagamu. Odulate highlighted the success of various collaborative efforts that restored peace and tranquillity to the once-troubled area.
In his report, Odulate acknowledged the constitutional limitations local governments face regarding security, but reaffirmed his determination to explore all available options. Through openness and inclusive engagement with key stakeholders, including community leaders and security agencies, his administration was able to achieve significant improvements in safety across Sagamu.

Odulate extended special thanks to the youths and residents of Sagamu, whose unwavering support played a critical role in restoring calm. “This overdue peace is a product of collective efforts. I appreciate our youths and the good people of Sagamu for their resilience. We are not there yet, but a peaceful and prosperous Sagamu is non-negotiable,” he stated.
While acknowledging that there is still more work to be done, Odulate promised to consolidate on the progress made, ensuring sustainable security efforts in the future.
