Ogun Government Donates Chairs, Desks To Batoro Community Junior School In Sagamu

Following a recently trending viral video that showed students of Batoro Community Junior school, Sagamu, sprawled on the ground in classrooms that lacked chairs, the Ogun state government through its commissioner for Education, Prof. Abayomi Arigbadu has donated desks and chairs to the school.

The state Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, while speaking at the Remo Royal event Center, Akarigbo Palace, Sagamu, on Wednesday expressed his commitment to the Education sector as it is the backbone of every nation that desires development.

He also promised to ensure that schools in the state are well-equipped to live up to its reputation as the “Education capital” of Nigeria.

Receiving the chairs and desks, the students of the school were joyous that the hardship faced in the school while learning had been ameliorated, the principal of the school also appreciated the Ogun State government under the leadership of Prince Dapo Abiodun for coming to their rescues.
