Gunmen attack Ebonyi APGA government candidate, shoot driver

Gunmen attacked the convoy of All Progressives Grand Alliance gubernatorial candidate in Ebonyi state, Bernard Odo, on Thursday night.

His media aide, Charles Otu, who confirmed the incident, said the candidate was returning from a campaign rally when they were ambushed at the Rest House area along the Enugu/Abakaliki highway.

It was believed that the gunmen opened fire and shot at the driver of the Sienna that was transporting Odo.
