Governor Abiodun Yet To Meet Basic Needs Of Ogun State Residents, Says Solola
A Nigerian born United Kingdom based security expert, having assessed the over three years administration of Governor Dapo Abiodun in Ogun State, said he (Abiodun) is yet to meet the basic needs of the people who voted him into power.
Eaglesforesight reports that, Olufemi Solola, a self styled Apostle of Integrity, said this in an interview with journalists, pointing out that the citizens’ demand more from the present administration than what they are getting as dividend of democracy.
“Dapo Abiodun in the last three years has actually tried like anybody would, but he has failed immensely to meet the very basic needs of the good people of Ogun state. Ogun state people do not have access to qualitative education and health services, many able bodied men and women who want to work are unemployed’, he stated.
“The civil servants’ entitlements are not promptly paid and to further impoverish the hardworking civil servants, the governor has been taking their cooperative funds for the past few months, thus subjecting the civil servants to debts and untold hardships”, he lamented.
Eaglesforesight further reports that, Solola declared that the present administration in the state lack integrity, stressing that the Governor’s dealings have not been opened enough for the people to see.
“Dapo Abiodun has integrity problem. He is not totally honest with the good people of Ogun state. The DMO reported that Dapo had borrowed over N150 billion in the last three years, which Dapo denied and he has failed to tell the good people of Ogun state, how much he has borrowed. So far, in the last three years, Dapo Abiodun has failed miserably to meet the basic yearnings of the good people of Ogun state”, he added.
