The OPC leader therefore ordered them to develop tourist centers in the southwest to regain the lost glory of the Yoruba race.

According to him “there isn’t a country that didn’t have its security challenges, they manage it and make sure that one of the sectors that brings them more money is tourism, in the southwest we are now controlling the insecurity situation and the state government should do everything possible do to protect foreign and local tourists.

“I think the police commissioners have their initiatives and the governor their way of solving their problems. The state of Oyo was the first state, but they boosted the Amotekun, they mobilized up to three thousand and gave them all the equipment and they are doing well in Oyo and Ondo now.

“Amotekun is doing well, but its activities are not well pronounced in Osun and Ogun states, such as Oyo and Ondo. We must use what we have to achieve what we want”.

“The reason for celebrating the Oodua festival is to seek the blessing of our ancestor and ancestor Odudua. It is also our way of preserving the cultural identity of the Yoruba race”.

“Ile-Ife is our ancestral home and the best we can do as culture promoters is to always keep in touch with Ile Ife, the source and cradle of the Yoruba race,” he added.
