Family Announces Passing of Snr. Reverend Apostolic Mother Mrs. Oluwayemisi Shoyoye (Nee Adeosun), Aged 76

The family of Snr. Reverend Apostolic Mother Mrs. Oluwayemisi Shoyoye (Nee Adeosun) has announced her peaceful transition to glory in the early hours of Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at her residence in Ibadan. She was aged 76.

The late Snr. Rev. Mother Oluwayemisi Shoyoye was a revered servant of God, widely recognized for her deep spirituality, uncommon humility, and compassionate ministry. Throughout her lifetime, she dedicated herself to the service of God and humanity, interceding fervently in prayers, nurturing Christian values, and providing care and support to the less privileged. Her life was a true reflection of unwavering faith and godly devotion, leaving behind a profound legacy of love, service, and spiritual guidance.

Speaking on behalf of the family, her son, Engr. Olatubosun Shoyoye (BDS), described her passing as deeply personal and painful, noting the depth of her spiritual influence and compassion.

“My mother’s exit feels like a part of my body has separated from me. She carried a heavy load of intercession for me until her last breath. She was a true philanthropist who always looked forward to caring for others. Our mother was a beacon of light, strength, and godly virtue. We will miss her deeply,” he said.

The deceased is survived by her loving husband, sons, daughters, grandchildren, and numerous spiritual children whose lives she touched through prayer, kindness, and faithful service to God.

The family stated that funeral arrangements will be announced in due course, adding that they deeply appreciate the prayers, support, and condolences from friends, the church community, and well-wishers during this period of mourning.

Snr. Rev. Mother Oluwayemisi Shoyoye (Nee Adeosun) will be remembered for her unshakable faith, tireless dedication to Christian service, and the countless lives she positively impacted through her ministry and acts of benevolence.
