FAECO Political Movement Strengthens Structure, Appoints New Coordinator, Reshuffled Executives

The former Ogun Commissioner for women affairs, and Ex-chairperson of Sagamu Local Government, Honourable Efuwape Funmilayo otherwise known politically as FAECO, has strengthened her political movement structures by appointing new acting coordinator, reshuffled the Executives.

The movement first meeting was held after the general election at usual meeting place on 14th of August 2023.

In the meeting, the All Progressive Congress, APC Sagamu women leader, Alhaja Rukayat Sonubi (AKA YOBORO) seized the opportunity  for attending the meeting after her arrival from Holy Pilgrimage ground, Mecca, to appreciate and to pray for Hon Funmilayo Efuwape over her supports to make it done.

The former Commissioner, Faeco took over the meeting by welcoming the whole members into another new political race after the long time break. Furthermore, she announced the reshufflement of the executives.

She said; “having Coordinators from each ward will let us know the real FAECO loyalists, so that we’ll know who and who to be giving palliatives and slot opportunities when it comes.”

She further advised, follows with instructions that the ward Coordinators must not be a self centered person to the extent that when sent to give people something at the ward level, such person should and must always deliver it accordingly.

Honourable Funmilayo Efuwape then announced Mrs Mariam Hassan from Ward 5 as Chairman of the group while the Secretary and Youth leader retain their position for their great work so far.

In the chairperson speech; Mrs Mariam Hassan appreciates the members and Commissioner Funmilayo Efuwape for counting her worthy of the position and she pledge to discharge her duty with the fear of God.  She also implore the members to please support her whenever she’s about to move astray, that the position can’t be done all alone without their supports.

Mr Baraka from ward 14 said; “we can see that there is no partial in the selection of the Acting Chairperson. So he urges all the women that if  truly they’re capable or not, their turnout in the next meeting will be obvious as he charged them to dominate and fill up the whole places with numerous people to give their full support for the Acting chairperson”.

Palliatives was shared to all the members in attendance with token as transport.
