Ex-Student Leader, Comrade Akilo appointed as APC Secretary Campaign Organization

Rights activist and former students leader, Comrade Akeem Temitope Akilo, has been appointed as the  Secretary, Central Working Committee of the Ijebu North Local Government APC Campaign Organization for the forthcoming 2021 local government election in Ogun state. 

In a press release made available to newsmen by the Director of Media and Publicity of the organization, Hon Adedapo David, the official flag off of Ijebu North Chapter of All Progressive Congress Campaign and Inauguration of Campaign Committee for the 2021 Local Government Elections will come up on Sunday, 11th July, 2021 at the Obada Park, Ijebu Igbo. The Chairman/DG, Hon Jayeola Olusola who is also the Transition Committee Chairman of the Local Government charged the members of the Committee to see their temporal appointment as a call to serve and ensure victory for the Candidates at the polls.

Comrade Akeem Akilo, a former member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and ardent supporter of Alhaji Gboyega Nasir Isiaka {GNI} an Accountant & Dogged Politician in Ogun. 

Akilo was formerly the Administrative Officer (A.O), Ogun State Chapter of Peoples Democratic Party, and subsequently the Personal Assistant (P.A) to The State Chairman of the party, Engr. Bayo Dayo between the year 2014– 2016, defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) along side with Alhaji Gboyega Nasir Isiaka {GNI}, the Ogun State governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in 2019 general elections.

Comrade Akilo is a Rights Activist & Ex-Students Leader, a young vibrant, resourceful, diligent, a resonant Comrade and a strong character man, with good connection & interpersonal skills. He is the Publicity Secretary of an Ijebu Regberegbe Age Group; Egbe Obayori Okunrin Akile Ijebu “Kuye”, a reputable traditional and cultural organization which was established with the royal proclamation by the Awujale & The Paramount Ruler Of Ijebuland, Alaiyeluwa Oba (Dr) Sikiru Kayode Adetona, CFR, JP.
