As Muslims across the world celebrate Eid al-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan, the Ogun State Commissioner for Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs, Hon. In a heartfelt message, she highlighted the significance of Eid as a time for reflection, thanksgiving, and acts of kindness, emphasizing the lessons learned during Ramadan.

“Eid is not just a day of festivity; it is a moment to appreciate Allah’s mercy, reflect on our spiritual journey, and carry forward the virtues of patience, self-discipline, and compassion cultivated during Ramadan. It is also a time to extend love and support to the less privileged, ensuring that the joy of the season reaches every home,” she stated.

Hon. Efuwape further called on individuals to strengthen family and community bonds, mend broken relationships, and foster peace within their surroundings. She encouraged acts of generosity and charity, noting that Eid presents a unique opportunity to share blessings with those in need.
