As Muslims across the nation celebrate the Eid-el-Kabir festival, the Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, Ogbeni Jubril Odulate, has extended warm Sallah greetings to all residents of Sagamu, emphasizing the values of love, sacrifice, and shared community spirit.

In a heartfelt message released on Friday, Ogbeni Odulate described Sallah not merely as a religious observance, but as a deeply emotional experience that brings families and communities together.

“Sallah isn’t just a date on the calendar — it’s a feeling. The calm that comes with the aroma of something special cooking, the sound of familiar laughter, and the comfort of being surrounded by loved ones,” he said.

The council boss urged residents to go beyond rituals and reflect on the core essence of the season, which he noted centers on kindness, sacrifice, and generosity. He emphasized that true sacrifice is not only about what one gives up but also about what one gives to uplift others.

Ogbeni Odulate expressed gratitude to the people of Sagamu for their relentless efforts in fostering peace and development in the local government, affirming his administration’s continued commitment to growth and unity.

“I’m sending you peace — the kind that settles the heart. I’m sending ease in your hustle, clarity in your decisions, and reasons to smile, even on quiet days,” he concluded.

The chairman wished all Muslims a joyful and spiritually rewarding celebration, praying for answered prayers and a prosperous future for every home in Sagamu.

Barka Da Sallah!
