As Muslims across the world celebrate Eid al-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan, the Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, Ogbeni Odulate Jubril Olasile, has urged residents to uphold the values of compassion, generosity, and unity beyond Ramadan.

In his Eid message, Odulate expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for granting the strength and patience to complete the sacred month of fasting, emphasizing that Ramadan’s spiritual discipline should reflect in daily lives.

Quoting the Qur’an, he reminded Muslims of their ongoing duty to righteousness:

“And establish prayer and give Zakat, and whatever good you put forward for yourselves, you will find it with Allah. Indeed, Allah sees what you do.” (Qur’an 2:110)
