Dr Adedara Oduguwa, Phd Bags College Award of “Worthy Role Model”, After 12- Years Of Graduation, Announced Investiture Date.

The Crawford University, Faith City Igbesa, Ogun State college Of business and social sciences, has nominated Dr Adedara Oduguwa phd for an award after twelve years of graduation.

“I was nominated for a college award after 12 years of graduation. Be good. Be unique and be exemplary. Award ceremony coming up 12th May, 2022.”_Adedara.

The letter sent to Oduguwa to inform him of the nomination, stated below:

We are delighted to inform you on behalf of College of Business and Social Sciences that after a rigorous screening of a long list of prospective beneficiaries of the prestigious award, you have been selected for the “Award of Distinguished Alumnus of the College of Business and Social Sciences of Crawford University.

You may wish to note that the college is moved by the good report about your impressive performance after your graduation from this institution. The programme is meant to celebrate your achievements and present you to the current set of students as worthy ‘Role Model’ and a notable distinguished ambassador of the College and the University as a whole. It is our hope that you shall be willing to impart positively on the students and the University as a whole, most especially the College of Business and Social Sciences.

The investiture of the Awardees shall hold on Thursday 12th of May, 2022 at the Multi-purpose Hall of this University at 11am.

Meanwhile, Dr Adedara Oduguwa had earlier acknowledged the college in a letter he sent to them, as state below:

One of the most important moment in any one’s life is a time like this, A time when one is truly recognized for what one has done for humanity and the development of others,

I graduated from Crawford University in. 2010. That’s 12 years today. While at Crawford, i topped my class academically and graduated as the second best student in the department of Business Administration and Marketing. I pioneered the departmental Students Association, thereby becoming its first president.

I left Nigeria immediately after serving my motherland for the United Kingdom in pursuit of a Masters Degree. I was highly recommended for the Programme by my mentors: Prof. Patrick Yalokwu, Prof. Babalota and Dr Amino Jonathan.

In the United Kingdom, i was distinguished! I became the overall best student in my department, which earned me £1500 and my name imprinted on the school’s International Brochure. I appeared on BBC and several Newspapers for that popular book; Chief Obafemi Awolowo: The Poiitical Moses.’

After my MSc Degree, i came back to Nigeria to start business. I went back to school in 2015 and in 2.5 years, bagged a doctorate degree in Babcock University, with specialization in Human Resources Management.

Since 2018, i have taught in Universities and still pushing my businesses. it’s true i have won several Awards in the past, particularly as a Role Model. But this is my first. It’s coming from where it all began. We all started from here. I am proud and so happy for this honour.

With this backdrop and humility, i accept this Award., while i promise to do more.
