Disagreements Ongoing At Remo Youth Association Election/Swearing In & Handover Venue, See Reason

The proposed election day as planned has commenced today, 16th of January, Sunday 2022, at Ikenne Remo Inside Alakenne palace.

At the time electoral chairman is calling names of Candidates, an eyebrow was raised when one comrade Adekunle Ismail, an acclaimed candidate from Ariye community was called for accreditation.

One Mr Babafemi Adenuga popularly known as Mandela, stopped the electioneering process by declining the candidacy of Ismail Adekunle, that he wasn’t a sponsored aspirant from the community and how does he emerge a candidate.

The declination which was also stopped and supported by the president of Sabo Youth Association, Comrade Bashiru and other members and executives of Sabo Youth Association.

The electoral committe had to stop the election for an urgent and emergency reconciliation meeting that keeps everyone bored and waiting for the outcome and what might have caused the declination.

As at the time of filing this report, the election process has been stopped for over 37-mins and nothing is coming forth from the meeting committe in other to continue.

Those in the reconciliation meeting comprises of the present but outgoing Remo Youth Association executives, Sabo Youth Association president, Ariye representatives, and the electoral committees.
