DA Likesmind Members Unanimously Pass Vote Of Confidence In Hon. Nurudeen Aka As Chairman, Reject ‘Plotters’ And Their ‘Baseless’ Allegations

In a resounding show of support, members of the DA Likeminds group in Ogun State have passed a vote of confidence in Honourable Nurudeen Aka Adewale, reaffirming his position as Chairman. This move comes amidst attempts by a few individuals to undermine his leadership and discredit him with baseless allegations of mismanagement.

Shittu Opeyemi, speaking on behalf of the local government coordinators, described the claims of mismanagement as “a mere child’s play” and “a lie that cannot see the light of the day.” He warned those behind the plot to desist, emphasizing that Honourable Aka remains the founder, sponsor, and authentic Chairman of the group.

Opeyemi stated, “We are the ones who pleaded with Hon Asiwaju AKA not to sue the plotters for defamation of character. It’s unfortunate that they won’t let the sleeping lion lie jeje. We will not stand by and watch as these individuals attempt to destroy the reputation of our beloved Chairman.”

“Hon. AKA has singlehandedly keep financing the group for years, empowered group across all the 20 LGA’s in Ogun State with little supports from his allies outside government, he didn’t deserves any of these baseless allegations without proofs,” the group members challenge anyone coming with allegations to come with evidences.

The group’s members have rallied behind Honourable Aka, rejecting the attempts to discredit him. With this vote of confidence, Honourable Aka’s position as Chairman remains unshakeable.

In a statement, Opeyemi said, “As far as we are concerned in DA Likeminds Ogun State, Hon Asiwaju Adewale Aka is the founder and sponsor of the formidable group, and He remains the State Chairman. We will continue to support him and work together to achieve our goals.”

The vote of confidence comes after a meeting of the local government coordinators, where members expressed their unwavering support for Honourable Aka. The meeting was attended by coordinators from all local governments in Ogun State, who unanimously rejected the allegations against Honourable Aka.
