DA Likes-Mind, Voluntarily Purchases Asiwaju Adewale Aka’s State Assembly Nomination Form

The state executives of Dapo Abiodun Likes Mind expresses their commitments to purchase the House of Assembly nomination form for an All Progressives Congress (APC) aspirant, Hon. Adewale Nurudeen Aka.

The group under the leadership of AKA as the state chairman has deem it fit to voluntarily gathered in Abeokuta on Wednesday, 4th of May 2022 to raise money for the purchase of their state chairman, Asiwaju Aka’s nomination form and to also ensure that he subsequently gets the party’s ticket as standard bearer to run for the Sagamu Constituency 1 election in 2023.

This development has positively given me boost to get myself more prepared to run for the assembly race and resume the business of law making at the state level, Asiwaju Aka said.

“The group sees Asiwaju Aka as the only outstanding man with great and enviable records and someone who has the interest of the people at heart, judging from his past and present antecedents.”

The amount gathered at the Wednesday sitting by the State executives was to the tune of 2,100,000 naira (Two Million and One Hundred Thousands Naira).

The State PRO of the Group, Mr Aderele Michael, said the money raised is part of the group’s little way of showing Asiwaju AKA, that the great people of Dapo Abiodun Likes Mind are solidly behind him and the ambition.

Michael said, “We as a group are committed to pick the All Progressives Congress State Assembly nomination form for our leader, Asiwaju Adewale Nurudeen AKA, to participate in the Assembly race.

Part of our plans include mobilization of electorate through door-to-door campaigns and visitations to some notable APC leaders across Units, Wards and Local Governments.”

We believe he has all that it takes to add value to Sagamu Constituency 1 in the forthcoming general election if choose by the party to champion the course. We truly believe in his capacity and the great people of Sagamu cannot afford to miss this golden opportunity.”
