Customs seize counterfeit dollars worth N2.7 billion, others in Lagos
The Seme Customs Command of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) said on Thursday that its men seized counterfeit US dollar bills worth N2.7 billion in Gbaji area of Lagos.
The command also revealed and displayed other seized contraband, including donkey skins and petroleum products.
Seme Customs Command’s customs officer, Controller Dera Nnaji, addressed reporters on Thursday and explained that counterfeit currency worth $6 million had been intercepted in the Gbaji area of the Seme border in Lagos.
