As Nigeria joins the rest of the world to commemorate this year’s Children’s Day, the Ogun State Commissioner for Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs, Hon. Commissioner Olufunmilayo Efuwape (FAECO), has extended heartfelt wishes to children across the state and beyond, describing them as the cornerstone of a brighter future.

In a statement made available to the press, Commissioner Efuwape emphasized the importance of nurturing and protecting children, calling on all stakeholders—parents, educators, policymakers, and society at large—to redouble efforts in ensuring that every child has access to love, quality education, and a safe environment to thrive.

“Children are the heartbeat of our future. Their laughter is a symphony of hope, and their dreams reflect the greatness that lies ahead. As we celebrate them today, let us reaffirm our duty to provide every child with the tools and opportunities to succeed,” she said.
