Celebrate Me When I’m Alive: Peter Fatomilola Celebrates 55-Year Anniversary On Stage As Nollywood Actor

Legendary nollywood actor, Chief Peter Oladele Fatomilola, popularly known as Peter Fatomilola has called on his fans across the globe to celebrate him as he turns 55 years on stage.

Chief Peter Fatomilola who doubles as the amuludun of the source, Ile-Ife is an award-winning prolific Yoruba movie actor, poet and playwright who has done great exploits in the Nigerian movie industry.

The first “Papa Ajasco” of the popular comic TV series produced by Wale Adenuga is a multi-talented superstar who hailed from Ifisin-Ekiti in Ido-Osi Local Government Area of modern day Ekiti State, Southwest Nigeria.

The grand finale of the ceremony has, according to a release, been scheduled to hold on Saturday, 22nd of October, 2022 at the Oduduwa Hall of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Southwest, Nigeria.

The anniversary which officially took off on October 2nd, 2022 will also feature an Award ceremony, the Peter Fatomilola Anniversary Honours Award to deserving individuals and corporate bodies for their contribution to the promotion of arts and humanities as well as the launch of the Peter Fatomilola One Million Friends.

The ceremony according to the organizers, will also feature the performance of the play “The Legend of Ooni Enitan”, a movie dedicated to the celebration of the investitures of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II who is also expected as the Royal father of the day.

Fatomilola’s call could be a change maker in the practice of under-celebrating stars in their lifetime. The event is expected to usher in movie icons and celebrities in arts, culture and entertainment to the city of Ile-Ife.
