Buhari urges Nigerians to adopt new technologies for agriculture and energy

President Muhammadu Buhari has urged Nigerians to pay more attention to new technology to improve agriculture and ensure the country’s mass food production and industrialization.

The president made the unveiling during the assignment to Malam Alu Ago Allied Company and the unveiling of the highest flag in Nigeria in Birninkudu local government area in Jigawa state.

The president called on the privileged to use their initiative to ensure that they use technology to solve economic, social and infrastructural challenges in Nigeria

He said: “I called on everyone who can afford to use technology. Technology is something that will solve many of our problems.”

“Use your head more, your initiative and use technology and I believe with determination to succeed in initiative.

“I am impressed with the structure seen in Malam Alu farms, especially the solar panels”.

He instructed Central Bank Governor Mr. Godwin Emefiele to ensure that he fully restored all agricultural and loan facilities.

“About this loan you received is between you and the central bank governor,” Buhari said.

Earlier, the chairman of Malam Alu farms, Dear Faruk Adamu Aliyu, said that the farm was initiated and established under President Buhari’s fertilizer initiative.
