It is imperative to appreciate His Excellency, The President and C-in C of the FRN for granting this interview @least ever since the hullabaloo of herdsmen and farmers resulting in waste of human lifes. The pronouncement of Governors going to defend their States against the incessant bloodsheds is not clear enough. To me it is mis- leading. Does the President mean that Governors should go ahead and purchase AK 47 guns or what? Or something sort of that? If he means that, what of the constitutional bottlenecks that may not petmit the Governors to take such step? Has there been any known provision to enable them? I think Mr President should put the record straight by passing through the approptiate stakeholders to properly give way to make it possible. Presently, in Nigeria today there regional secutity networks cutting across, do they have power to convert them to state police to assist the Federal Police? Mr President should please go back to the drawing board and do the needfuls. The message, to me, is ambiguous.
