BREAKING: Miyetti Allah Purchases APC Presidential Form For Goodluck Jonathan

The race for the 2023 presidential election is getting interesting as former president, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has been invited to join the race.

According to the reports, Miyetti Allah group has purchased the N100MIllion expression of interest form for the former President. The cattle group has come out with an emphatic statement to unsettled other candidates.

Recall that vice president, Yemi Osinbajo and All Progressive Congress National Chairman, Bola Tinubu are among the people seeking the presidential ticket under the ruling party.

But Miyetti Allah purchases this form has thrown the race widely opened.As seen via the TVC Twitter page, the group purchased the form this evening but are yet to present it to the former president who governed under the platform of the opposition PDP.Daily Post also confirmed the development but argued if the former President will accept the nomination.

Speculations about Goodluck Jonathan’s candidacy have been rife for some time as on several occasions, some groups have called on the former president to throw his hat into the ring.Last month, the Middle Belt Progressive Forum had offered to purchase the expression of interest and nomination forms of any political party for former President Goodluck Jonathan should he decide to contest the presidential election in 2023.

Paul Agada, the convener of the forum, said Jonathan’s “rare” qualities have earned him the moniker “peacemaker”.

Early this month, some groups had also besieged the office of the former President urging him to run for President.

Jonathan had replied that when the time was right, he would make his intentions known.

Three top politicians in the APC have picked up their expression of interest forms for the Presidency today, Gov Ayade of Cross Rivers state, Senate President Lawan, and the Minister of state, petroleum, Timipre Sylva.
