BREAKING: Former Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari Dies In London Clinic

Former Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, has passed away in a London clinic, according to a statement released by his family and confirmed by a close former aide, Garba Shehu.
The late president reportedly died earlier this afternoon, though specific medical details surrounding his passing have yet to be disclosed.
Garba Shehu, who served as Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity during Buhari’s presidency, made the announcement via the X platform (formerly Twitter), invoking the Islamic funeral prayer: “Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Raji’un,” meaning “From God we come and to Him we return.”
Buhari, 82, served as Nigeria’s Head of State between 1983 and 1985 following a military coup, and later as a democratically elected president from 2015 to 2023 under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
