BREAKING: Elegbeji’s Tech Revolution Births 15 New Millionaires In Remo As Dream Becomes Reality

Ogun Commissioner, Ayoola Elegbeji’s bold intervention creates pathway from poverty to prosperity through cutting-edge technology training.
In a remarkable turn of events that has sent shockwaves, 15 young people from Remo Land have emerged as certified technology professionals following an unprecedented skills development programme that industry experts are calling “transformational.”
The extraordinary initiative, spearheaded by Hon. Adesola Ayoola Elegbeji, Commissioner for Ogun State Judicial Service Commission, has not only equipped participants with globally-recognized digital competencies but has also secured four outstanding graduates full scholarships to pursue advanced studies at the prestigious AltSchool Africa.
What began as an ambitious vision to bridge the digital divide has yielded remarkable results. From an overwhelming response of 200 eager applicants across Ogun State, the rigorous selection process identified 63 candidates who demonstrated exceptional passion and commitment to technology careers.
However, the journey proved challenging. Only 31 participants maintained consistency throughout the intensive two-week virtual programme, with 15 ultimately meeting the demanding standards required for certification.
The survivors now possess expertise in five critical technology sectors: Software Development, Cybersecurity, Digital Marketing, Product Design (UI/UX), and Data Analysis – skills that command substantial remuneration in today’s digital marketplace.
Speaking exclusively to our correspondent, Hon. Elegbeji revealed the substantial financial commitment behind the initiative. “We invested millions of naira because we believe in the potential of our young people,” she stated. “The programme was designed to produce work-ready professionals who can immediately contribute to the digital economy.”
The Commissioner’s strategic partnership with Empower Youth Voices, facilitated by Miss Janet Boluwatife Olaolu, ensured participants received world-class instruction comparable to international standards.
The programme’s crown achievement materialized when four exceptional performers – Babalola Michael Olayemi, Idowu Osubu, Mercy John, and David Badun – earned coveted full scholarships for one-year diploma programmes at AltSchool Africa.
These scholarship recipients will specialize in high-demand disciplines including Software Engineering, Data Analysis, Product Management, and Cybersecurity, positioning them for lucrative global opportunities.
Industry analysts estimate the combined value of these scholarships in the millions, representing a significant return on investment for both the beneficiaries and their community.
The graduation ceremony witnessed unprecedented community support, with His Royal Highness, Oba Kolawole Adeshina Adeyemi, the Negbuwa of Ibido Kingdom, serving as Royal Father of the Day.
In a stirring address, the traditional ruler emphasized the programme’s alignment with traditional values of hard work and legitimate success. “Technology offers our youth genuine pathways to prosperity without compromising their integrity,” he declared.
The royal endorsement adds significant cultural weight to the initiative, potentially inspiring similar programmes across traditional communities in Southwest Nigeria.

Hon. Elegbeji, who is seeking to represent Remo Federal Constituency under the All Progressives Congress (APC), has demonstrated practical leadership through this initiative. Political observers note that the programme showcases her commitment to constituency development even before assuming elected office.
Dr. Dapo Odukoya, Commissioner 1 of the Ogun State House of Assembly Service Commission, praised Elegbeji’s sacrifice for youth development, describing her investment as “visionary leadership in action.”
David Badun, speaking on behalf of scholarship recipients, delivered a powerful testimony that moved ceremony attendees to tears. “This programme has rewritten my life story,” he declared. “I was struggling to find direction, but now I have a clear path to success and a commitment to lift others.”
The emotional impact extended beyond scholarship winners, with certificate recipients Abimbola Oshonuga, Mayowa Olorunjuwonlo Precious, Olumide Isaac, and Omoniyi Mafikuyomi expressing gratitude for the opportunity to acquire marketable skills.
Comrade Bidemi Solarin, Chairman of the Remo Youth Association, described the initiative as a “game-changer for community development,” urging other leaders to adopt similar approaches.
“This programme proves that sustainable progress comes from investing in our people,” Solarin emphasized. “Hon. Elegbeji has set a standard that other leaders must follow.”
Technology industry experts project significant economic benefits from the programme. Graduates can potentially earn between ₦200,000 to ₦2 million monthly, depending on their specialization and experience level.
The ripple effect extends beyond individual success stories. As these professionals establish themselves in the digital economy, they are expected to create additional employment opportunities and contribute to Remo’s economic diversification.
The full roster of certified graduates represents diverse backgrounds and aspirations: Abimbola Osonuga, Adesola Neye, Gbenga Oyesanya, Babalola Michael Olayemi, Idowu Osubu, Mayowa Olorunjuwonlo Precious, Mercy John, Moses Makolo, Dorcas Okunlola, Olabanjo Osularu, Olumide Isaac Olaolu, Oluwaseun Adeyemi, David Badun, Kehinde Awonusi, and Omoniyi Mafikuyomi.
Each graduate now possesses internationally-recognized certifications that open doors to remote work opportunities with global technology companies.
Sources close to the Ayoola-Elegbeji Foundation indicate plans for programme expansion, with potential partnerships being explored with additional international institutions.
The success of this pilot programme has attracted attention from other states, with several commissioners reportedly seeking to replicate the model in their jurisdictions.
Education experts describe the programme as a blueprint for community-driven development that could be scaled across Nigeria. The initiative demonstrates how strategic investment in youth skills development can address unemployment while building technological capacity.
The programme’s success comes at a crucial time when Nigeria seeks to diversify its economy and reduce dependence on oil revenues through technology and innovation.
As these 15 graduates embark on their transformed career journeys, they carry the hopes and dreams of their community. Their success will serve as inspiration for future cohorts and proof that with proper support and determination, Nigerian youth can compete globally in the digital economy.
The Ayoola-Elegbeji Foundation’s groundbreaking initiative has not only changed individual lives but has also established Remo Land as a potential hub for technology innovation in Southwest Nigeria.
