BREAKING: Commotion At Senate Chamber As Tinubu’s Ministerial Nominee Slumps During Screening
During his screening by the Senate on Wednesday, Balarabe Abbas Lawal, a ministerial nominee from Kaduna State, collapsed, causing a flurry of commotion in the Chamber.
The nominee had been speaking for several minutes before he suddenly fell to the floor, prompting several lawmakers to rush to his aid.

Lawal was the second nominee to undergo screening. After concluding his presentation to the lawmakers and just as he was about to take questions, he collapsed.
Following the incident, the Senate went into a closed-door session while efforts were made to revive the nominee, who remained inside the chamber.
