Sagamu, Ogun State – In a remarkable display of maturity and community spirit, the youth of Sagamu have taken the lead in ensuring that the August 1 protests is restricted to avoid it been hijacked by miscreants and hoodlums. Despite the nationwide calls for demonstrations, the Sagamu youth have chosen to prioritize the protection of Akarigbo palace, community, and surroundings, setting a shining example for other communities to follow.

As protests erupted across the nation, the Sagamu youth came together to promote peace and stability in their locality. They formed a human chain around the palace, preventing any potential violence or destruction. The youth also worked closely with community leaders and security agencies to ensure that the protests did not hold in Sagamu.
