Aremo Adesanya Signs Gov. Abiodun Father’s Condolence Register

The GPN 2019 Governorship Candidate, Aremo Ifeoluwa Adesanya paid a condolence visit to Governor Dapo Abiodun’s family house to commiserate with the family over the death of their patriarch, Emmanuel Abiodun.

Recall that Emmanuel Abiodun, the father of the governor, died on August 2 at the age of 89.

Aremo noted that the late Pa Abiodun lived a good life manifested in the quality of children he bred and the teeming followership of the family and community who admired him so much.

For the services rendered for the nation while actively in service and for the betterment of the educational sector, his name shall forever remain in the pages of many impacted hearts

He stated that the best respect that should be given to the demise is to keep his legacy sailing in terms of the family, especially Gov. Dapo to be friendly and accommodative to the people of Ogun State and having a good sense of objective foresight in leadership.

May God bestow comfort and strength on the bereaved family members to withstand this great loss!

The former Governorship Candidate, Aremo Adesanya wrote and signed in the condolence register before he left.

Burial date announced

Meanwhile, Abiodun has announced that the burial rites for his late father will begin on Monday, September 6, and end on Thursday, September 9.

Abiodun disclosed this at his Iperu Remo family house when the Yobe State governor and the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress Caretaker Committee, Mai Mala Buni, led Kebbi and Jigawa state governors, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu and Muhammad Abubakar, respectively, on a condolences visit to the governor.

Others who accompanied Buni on the visit were, former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole; and a former governor of Ogun state, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, among others.

Abiodun said, “I want to formally announce that the family has decided that we will begin the burial rite from the 6th of September and it will last till 9th of September.

“We are grateful to political leaders, royal fathers, community leaders, as well as politicians across political parties for their calls, condolence visits and kind remarks on the life and times of our patriarch.”
